Our Aims
The Edinburgh University Expedition Society (ExpEd) is a hub for all Edinburgh students interested in going on expeditions and taking up the challenge of adventure travel. The Society aims to share the knowledge and experience about all aspects of the expedition including step-by-step planning, funding and preparation.
The ExpEd society does not organize expeditions for its members. But we do provide useful information, advice and support by running seminars, workshops and inspiring talks. We also assist our members in getting approval from the Edinburgh University Expedition Committee in order to receive an official University Expedition status.
